2012 BMW Motorcycle Wallpaper
Just as it did by offering a special-edition R 1200 GS, the Rallye, BMW released a sport-oriented K 1300 S with an HP package that provides addition performance, comfort and style.
Regarding styling, the 2012 BMW K 1300 S HP arrives with special-edition colors – Alpine White non metallic highlighted by Lupin Blue Metallic and Night Black. BMW also added some carbon-fiber parts, including front-wheel, airbox, clutch and seat covers.
The BMW K 1300 S HP arrives with the standard, 175-horspower 1293cc, water-cooled inline four, but with some enhancements, such as an Akrapovic sports silencer. Also added to the HP package are various upgrades, such as electronic suspension adjustment (ESA II), automatic stability control (ASC), tire pressure control (RDC), heated grips, and an onboard computer.
The HP features K1300S suspension, which includes a duolever front system, with a single-sided swingarm with Paralever system out back. Stopping the 2012 BMW K 1300 S HP are dual 320mm brakes squeezed by four-piston calipers, and a 265mm single disc out back squeezed by a double-piston caliper. Braking is further enhanced by standard BMW Motorrad Integral ABS (part-integral).
