Allstate Custom Motorcycles to Daytona

Arlen Ness, Rick Fairless and Dave Perewitz each to unveil custom creations inspired by Allstate at 2012 Daytona Beach Bike Week

Three of the country’s top motorcycle builders – Arlen Ness, Rick Fairless and David Perewitz – have partnered with the Allstate Insurance Company to build four customs that were unveiled at 2012 Daytona Beach Bike Week (details of each build are highlighted below).

Each custom motorcycle was inspired by Allstate, and one will be given away as the grand prize in a national sweepstakes. The unveiling was a milestone within the motorcycle industry, marking the first-ever collaboration between legendary builders Arlen Ness, Rick Fairless and Dave Perewitz.

Keith Rutman (Vice President of Allstate’s Consumer Household unit) says: “These four beautiful and elaborate creations tell a unique story about our motorcycle product, industry innovations and rider advocacy efforts.

“All of these attributes – including safety, customization and advocacy aim to make the world a better place to ride.”

The customs, which are part of this historic collaborative effort, each bear unique themes that mirror the distinguished styles of the builders, while reflecting Allstate’s dedication to protection.

Arlen Ness says: “Rick, Dave and I have distinct differences in our styles. But in the end, we were able to come together with one goal in mind – the rider.”

The bikes are on display during Daytona Bike Week at the Allstate Rider Protection Zone located at Daytona International Speedway (1801 W. International Speedway Blvd.), which opened Friday, March 9, and then will travel to other major motorcycle rallies across the country during 2012, including:

  • Daytona Bike Week – Daytona Beach, Fla., March 9-17
  • Leesburg Bikefest – Leesburg, Fla., April 26-29
  • Laconia Motorcycle Week – Laconia, N.H., June 9-17
