Ducati Brings Fashion to NYC IMS

Ducati Fashion Show

When the Ducati North America staff arrived in New York City for the Progressive International Motorcycle Show this past weekend, they didn’t only bring a few 2011 motorcycles.

The 2011 motorcycles would have solely appealed to the massive NYC IMS crowd, but the Italians had other ideas.

First was the unveiling of the 2011 Monster 1100 EVO. The new Duc was immediately the center of attention at the display, many IMS attendees swinging a leg over the new machine.

But the Ducati staff wanted to be more than typical; besides the Ducati Espresso Bar setup at NYC IMS, they also brought a full-out fashion show to the city.

And of course, they did it in Italian style, which involved all the latest trends in motorcycle fashion and protective apparel on beautiful models, some performing full handless back flips before the crowd. And to enhance the show, the models strutted their stuff around the Monster 1100 EVO.

This YouTube video highlights the Fashion Show at NYC IMS this past weekend, showing that Ducati not only brings a new sense of sexiness to its motorcycles, but also to its brand.
