RapidBike Evo: More Power for Ducati Twins

Ducati Parts

RapidBike, the professional system to change operating parameters of motorcycle four-stroke engines with electronic injection, has just produced a module for the twin-cylinder Ducati.

Now with RapidBike, you can have that Ducati twin-cylinder engine combined with state-of-the-art electronics.

Ducati riders who enjoy the Monster 696 / 796 / 1100 or the Hypermotard 796 / 1100 will benefit from RapidBike. All of these Ducati motorcycles combine fun with pleasure on the road, but don’t have high claims for all-out engine performance.

These Ducati motorcycles have character and can show it on the road, where the two-valve twin-cylinder bike from Bologna is at its best.

Conversely, the modern Ducati Multistrada 1200 is quite another story; this machine is a highly powerful motorcycle keen on electronics. The Multistrada’s 4 valves per cylinder guarantee a pretty good performance, even if power is never enough.

This lack of all-out power on the Ducatis is why Dimsport designed a new additional control unit for the 2- and 4-valve engines, i.e. Rapid Bike Evo.

The data recorded at the testbed after fitting this ‘magic’ control unit were really convincing: power increase on Monster 769 at 5000 revolutions is almost 5 HP, whereas maximum power on Multistrada 1200 is enhanced from 140.4 HP to 147.3 HP.

Valentino Damonte (RapidBike Product Manager) says: "We have developed an extraordinary system working on injection time and lambda probe signals at one time with the two cylinders managed separately in terms of carburetion and self-adaptation, thereby adjusting the parameters impacting on performance and torque…you should try it yourselves."

No more waiting for Ducati lovers; time is high for self-adaptation by purchasing RapidBike Evo. It’s time for your Ducati bikes to rally and enjoy power!
