Typically, the second half of the AMA Supercross season is all about massaging the order of the top five riders to try to maximize points. However, 2026 is turning out to be a daunting year for fantasy supercross players. At the same time, it’s incredible to watch the battle for the title unfold, as the top three riders are separated by just five points with five rounds to go, and a tie for the top spot. Let’s see what 2026 Nashville Supercross fantasy picks we can come up with.
- RMFantasySX is all about the top five, and that has not been easy. Only two of the top five riders at round 11 in Detroit returned to the top five last week in St. Louis. It’s shocking to see results like that this late in the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series. It also makes for predictions closer to guesswork than to reading the statistical tea leaves.

- Ken Roczen has emerged as the top dog in Supercross. Roczen is on a 4-3-5-2-1-1 run and is now just five points behind co-leaders Eli Tomac and Hunter Lawrence. Roczen struggled in the first six races, with a P8 at A2 and a P10 at Seattle. He had one win in the first 10 races, and has had back-to-back wins at the last two rounds. At round 9 in Indianapolis, Roczen’s season looked over after a P5 result that put him 28 points behind then-leader Lawrence. The series took a week off, and Roczen returned on fire. He has gone 2-1-1, with both wins pure domination. Put him down to win in Nashville at Nissan Stadium. You know Roczen is already thinking about the taste of title champagne.

- Justin Cooper is another rider who has turned his season around. Cooper didn’t crack the top five in the first four rounds. Since then, he has been in the top five at all but one of the last eight rounds—a P12 at Daytona Beach. Cooper broke a streak of three P4s in a row with a P2 last week. Cooper is on a mission, and he has earned a P2 ranking for Nashville. However, don’t be shocked if Cooper takes his first-ever 450SX win this week. He is on a roll and has nothing to lose, as he is 48 points out of first place in the standings. Still, keep in mind that Cooper was over 13 seconds behind Roczen last week, so it wasn’t close.

- Feld Entertainment has got to do something about injury reports, and Hunter Lawrence is the latest reason why. If there’s going to be gambling in Supercross, there has to be transparency about the riders’ conditions. Lawrence came into St. Louis last week with a wrist injury suffered in Detroit. It wasn’t public knowledge, so anyone with that information had an unfair advantage in wagering. This must be addressed to protect the integrity of the sport. Regardless, the wounded Lawrence was good for P3. We have no idea what his condition will be in Nashville, though it probably won’t be worse. So, it’s P3 again for Lawrence.
- With so many inconsistent rides by competitors, Cooper Webb establishes himself as the safest P4 pick. Webb hasn’t been as high as P4 since round 9 in Indianapolis, and is on a 6-6-5 run since the break. While someone might take P4 from Webb, it’s impossible to know who. So, Webb as P4 is a defensive pick.
- There are four candidates for P5: Jorge Prado, Chase Sexton, Malcolm Stewart, and Championship Leader Eli Tomac. Frustratingly, none of them are strong choices because of their inconsistency. Get your Magic 8 Ball ready.

- Over the three rounds since the break, Malcolm Stewart has scored the third-most points. Roczen has earned 72 points, Cooper has accumulated 58, and Stewart has tallied 57. His 5-3-8 run is good, but the P8 last week is troubling, as Stewart never ran higher than P7 and blamed the track’s condition. I’m going with Stewart for P5, though that’s a low-confidence prediction.

- Jorge Prado gets great starts, but it’s hard to tell where he’ll finish. Prado’s 7-13-4 after the break. There’s not much you can glean from that, other than he is capable of finishing in the top five, though he has only done it three times this year, which is one more time than Stewart. Still, Stewart has 57 points since the break, compared to 42 for Prado. It’s not an easy call.

- Eli Tomac is another reason Feld needs to provide injury reports. Although Tomac leads the 2026 Supercross Championship Series via a tie-breaker, something is wrong with him. Tomac, who still leads the series in wins, is on a 1-2-3-5-6 run. He insists that injury is the reason, though that’s getting harder to believe every week. I left Tomac off my top-five list last week, and that turned out well. Like last week, it’s hard to believe the series leader won’t be a top-five rider, but until I see improvement, I’m considering him damaged goods, admitted or not.

- That was a brutal hit Chase Sexton took in St. Louis when he slammed his bike into the face of a jump in the Main Event. Sexton pulled off and was P22 for the night. He was certainly injured in the incident. Is he still injured? Well, there’s no way to know. Here’s his post-race statement: “I ultimately had to pull off the track early because I was pretty banged up after my crash and was unable to finish the race.” Sexton is hard to predict in the best of circumstances. He can be fast enough to win, as he has done this year, but he’s still a high-risk pick post St. Louis, despite having five top-five finishes this year.

- The Wild Card is P9, and there are two good choices. Garrett Marchbanks has gone 10-10-9 since the break, and that’s as good an endorsement for P9 as you’re going to get right now. Joey Savatgy for P9, as he has two P9 finishes in the last four rounds, along with a P7, though he missed Birmingham due to a foot injury. Savatgy is a good backup pick. If you want to roll the dice, Dylan Ferrandis is on a 7-10 run after returning from injury, and Justin Hill had a P8 in Detroit, but was P14 last week. I’m going with Marchbanks.

- Nashville is an afternoon race. The first gate drop is at 3 p.m. Eastern Time. If you live on the West Coast, Race Day Live starts at 6 a.m. Check our 2026 Supercross Television Schedule for viewing details, as there’s a reason for the afternoon start.
