After a two-year break from the top spot, Eli Tomac reclaimed his title as King of Daytona, notching his 8th career win at the Daytona International Speedway. 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series leader Hunter Lawrence finished in P2, keeping Tomac honest, while early leader Ken Roczen rounded out the podium.

Roczen led the first five laps of the 17-lap race at the famed superspeedway. Tomac, who was in P4 after the opening lap, settled into P3 on lap 2 behind Lawrence. Lap 6 proved pivotal, as Tomac passed Lawrence and Roczen to take the lead, which he never relinquished. Lawrence got by Roczen on lap 13, and the podium was set.

Webb finished in P4, with Joey Savatgy, Aaron Plessinger, and Garrett Marchbanks following him in that order from lap 9 to the checkered flag.
Tomac’s win, his fourth of the season, puts him one point behind Lawrence, with the midway point in the 17-round series next week in Indianapolis. Roczen and Cooper are tied on 151 points, 20 behind Lawrence. Sexton and Cooper each have 122 points in the battle over P5, 49 points off of Lawrence’s pace.
