Two USA Triumph Dealers Awarded at Global Conference
Triumph Bonnevilles at Global Dealer Conference

Last month, Triumph Motorcycles accomplished two major tasks in London – it launched its new Triumph Bonneville lineup (Street Twin, T120, Thruxton), and also held its Global Dealer Conference.

During the dealer conference, held at the Excel Center in London, the winning dealers represented 16 different countries. And two of those dealers were from the USA – Southern California Triumph, based in Brea, Calif., and Triumph of Westchester based in Westchester, N.Y.

Souther California Triumph, owned by Tom Hicks, was the only dealer outside of Europe to earn the lifetime achievement award for “Outstanding Contribution to the Brand.” Triumph of Westchester, based in Westchester, N.Y., and co-owned by Rafal Bassendorf and Les Tomacki, earned the Triumph National Dealer Award.

The awards were presented by Nick Bloor, global CEO of Triumph Motorcycles, and John Bloor, owner and founder of the Triumph Motorcycles Ltd.’s Hinckley-based operation.

“Les and Rafal at Triumph of Westchester and Tom at Southern California Triumph set the standard for all of our retailers in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving the brand in their markets,” said Matt Sheahan, COO of Triumph Motorcycles America. “We’re proud to have them as partners and have them recognized on stage in front of the global dealer audience.”

As an additional reward, Lord Digby Jones, Chairman of Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. and former Minister of State for Trade and Investment, took these winning dealers on an exclusive guided tour of the House of Lords, the upper house of the U.K. Parliament located in the Palace of Westminster.
