The top Harley-Davidson models are always the touring bikes. For 2015, there are nine models to choose from. Following are brief previews of each model.
2015 Harley-Davidson FLTRX Road Glide
One immediately noticeable change to the famous Road Glide is the new contour of the fairing.
Shaped by hours of wind tunnel testing, the new frame-mounted fairing features triple Splitstream venting that reduces head buffeting while still providing comfortable airflow around the rider.
Key Features:
- The Dual Daymaker Reflector LED headlamp blasts through the night for greater safety.
- Centered in the inner fairing is the color screen of a Boom! Box 4.3 infotainment system controlled by twin joysticks located on a new swept-back handlebar that puts the rider in a commanding, comfortable position.
- A High Output Twin Cam 103 V-Twin engine speaks through two chrome mufflers, its abundant torque always on tap with just a twist of the throttle, sent to the ground through a six speed Cruise Drive transmission.
- Touring features include One- Touch hard saddlebags, cruise control, easy-to- read gauges, adjustable air-ride rear suspension and new ergonomic hand controls with intuitive design and improved tactile feel.

2015 Harley-Davidson FLTRXS Road Glide Special
The Road Glide Special shares the latest features of the base model—the new frame-mounted fairing that features triple Splitstream venting fairing, new swept-back handlebar, the Dual Daymaker Reflector LED headlamp, High Output Twin Cam 103 V-Twin engine, One-Touch hard saddlebags, cruise control, easy-to-read gauges, adjustable air-ride rear suspension and new ergonomic hand controls.
Select premium features elevate the Road Glide Special from the base model.
Centered in the inner fairing is the color screen of a the premium Boom! Box 6.5GT infotainment system with touch screen and GPS navigation.
Reflex Linked Brakes with ABS, hand-adjustable low-profile rear suspension enhance ride and performance, and an exclusive gloss Black painted inner fairing (Denim fairing Black Denim models) and hand-applied pinstriping, enhances styling.

2015 Harley-Davidson FLHR Road King
The 2015 Harley-Davidson Road King is a touring motorcycle for the rider who prefers the look of a classic windshield to that of a fairing.
Features include the High Output Twin Cam 103, bright Dual Halogen headlamp and halogen fog lamps, Impeller wheels, hard saddlebags and a easy-to-read speedometer.
Reflex Linked Brakes with ABS are optional. Its air-adjustable touring rear suspension and a comfortable seating position are designed for long-distance touring.
The innovative Harley-Davidson Touring chassis, based on a single-spar, rigid backbone frame and a stout swingarm developed to withstand the demands of long-haul touring riders and today’s more-powerful engines.

The 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic sets the standard for long-haul touring comfort and convenience. The High Output Twin Cam 103 engine provides more power for confident passing.

2015 Harley-Davidson FLHTCUL Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low
The 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low offers the lowest seat height available in a premium touring bike and a package of features designed to address comfort and fit issues fit for riders under 5 feet 7 inches tall.
Those features include:
- A seat height of 25.6 inches allows more riders to place both feet flat on the ground when the motorcycle is stopped, and a new low-profile seat reduces the reach to the foot controls. Premium lowered front and rear suspension lowers the bike’s center of gravity and makes it easier to lift the motorcycle off its jiffy stand.
- The overall width of the primary drive housing and derby cover are reduced to further improve leg clearance to the ground.
- A pull-back handlebar places hand controls two inches closer to the rider, putting many riders in a more comfortable position that can reduce back and shoulder strain.
- Smaller-diameter hand grips reduce the finger reach to the brake and clutch levers.
- Assist and Slip (A&S) hydraulic clutch reduces lever effort 23 percent, a key benefit in stop- and-go traffic.
- A new passenger footboard mount allows the footboards to be folded up so they are out of the way when pushing the motorcycle in a garage or driveway.
- A new toe tab extension reduces the reach required to retract the jiffy stand.
- Visually indistinguishable from standard Harley-Davidson Touring models, the Ultra Classic Low is equipped with the full complement of Project RUSHMORE features that set the standard for long-haul touring comfort and convenience.
