Alpinestars: Summer Tech Underwear

Motorcycle Base Layers

Alpinestars’ Summer Tech Performance underwear forms an effective base layer keeping you cool and comfortable under your suit during warm weather riding.

Featuring a unique new tubular construction method to minimize the amount of joints to the garment and new material technology – base layers are ever more effective.

Comfortable new moisture wicking material. Seamless construction throughout main body and arms for ultimate comfort and removal of seam pressure points. Arm to body connection is the only seam joint on the garment and the joint features a flat seam stitching technique from Alpinestars auto racing program.

This construction is achieved through a new hi-tech web production system to allow the tubular body and arm section to be built with no joints, allowing minimal seam stitching for ultimate comfort and performance. Long sleeve top and 3-panel bottom. New Dryarn material is highly effective in its ability to transfer moisture away from the skin and is 60% lighter than cotton, the material is also hypoallergenic, antistatic and very stable.

Muscle supporting compression fit helps support the riders muscles and reduces fatigue. Ergonomic flat lock seams. The underwear is designed to provide a tight, adaptable fit. Moisture wicking technology ensures ultimate comfort is maintained as well as a constant body temperature.

Printed Astar logo on the front with “Alpinestars” print logo on the back. The shorts and pant all feature a male pant opening. Available from the Summer Tech Performance range are a long sleeve and short sleeve shirt as well as a tank top. In the pant selection, there is the choice of a pair of long pants or sports boxers.

Dryarn provides a extremely size stable product, meaning that even after repeated washing the product will remain the same size. The product is also treated with a fire retardant substance during construction, the product will self extinguish above 200 degrees centigrade to protect against abrasion induced friction burns.
