Benelli Motorcycles

Saturday, July 30, marked the beginning of the "Raid Benelli Europe," a 3,000-kilometer trip to show all the attachment of the Benelli fans to our historical brand. During the ride that helps celebrates Benelli’s 100th Anniversary, 10 bikers will cross Europe to remember the historical victories of the "Leoncino" brand.

The tour, organized by the Registro Storico Benelli (Historical Register Benelli), includes many stops such as the Benelli Museum in Rehburg Loccum (Germany), where are on display 100 motorcycles made in the Pesaro factory.

The riders will also visit the motorsport race track of Assen, in the Netherlands, and Spa, in Belgium, where Benelli boasts many victories in the World Cup competions. During the trip our riders will also meet many Benelli Dealers in Belgium , Germany and in the Netherlands.

For the ‘Raid’, Benelli Q.J. has made available to the Registro Storico Benelli (Historical Register Benelli) two new bikes, a Benelli Century Racer 1130 and a Trek 1130, which will be ridden by the President of the Motoclub Mr. Paolo Fontana and by Paolo Marchinelli. But there will also be present some historical bikes such as the Benelli 750 six, the 500 four and 900 six, probably the most popular Benelli motorcycles in Europe.

From Sept. 12 to 18, the "Benelli Week" will be celebrated, an entire week of events all dedicated to Benelli.

Claudio Consonni (Benelli Technical and Press Director) says: "This is a really important moment for our legendary brand. We have to celebrate it in the best way and I wish to thank the Registro Storico Benelli, the Moto Club Benelli and the Municipality of Pesaro for the great job they are doing with us.

"I also wish to remember that on Friday September 16th the ‘Benelli Q.J. Open Day’ takes place: we will open the doors of our company for guided tours and we will invite our visitors to ride our scooters. It will be a really nice day dedicated to Benelli, which will hold also some surprises."
