2011 AMA Supercross Prep
The 2011 AMA Supercross season will be here before you know it, and many teams are preparing to get their bikes on top of the podium next year.
One team that’s heavily into work already is the Rockstar Maktia Suzuki Team backed by Yoshimura. This YouTube video features the 2010 AMA Motocross and AMA Supercross champion Ryan Dungey aboard the Suzuki RM-Z450, preparing for the upcoming season.
Dungey made history in 2010, becoming the first-ever rookie to win both the Supercross and Motocross titles. After his amazing feat, Dungey was named captain of Team USA for the 2010 Motocross of Nations.
Dungey lead Team USA to a comprehensive 21st victory and sixth consecutive success at the 64th Motocross of Nations (MXoN) in September.
The 2011 AMA Supercross Championship kicks off at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., on Jan. 8.
