Highway to Havasu: IJSBA World Finals

Powersports Event

The ‘Highway to Havasu’ event series culminates with quite possibly the best party in powersports. And someone will enjoy VIP access to all the perks and pleasures of a great jet ski racing weekend. Racing goes fast. Racing goes Hollywood.

All weekend long, qualifying heats are taking place. Seriously, the water barely has a chance to settle down before the next heat fires up. So there’s always something to see. There’s even a freestyle competition, with riders showing off their latest tricks – stuff you’d never expect a PWC could do.

And this year, there’s a special treat at World Finals. Filming is set to begin for a movie about PWC racing; so images of the racers and spectators will be captured throughout the weekend.

Former World and National Champion Larry Rippenkroeger, and producing partners, Kyle Collinsworth and Greg Pellerito will be attending this year’s World Finals accompanied by a film crew shooting footage to be used in a feature film entitled "Hot Water".

According to Rippenkroeger "I’ve always wanted to bring some of the fun and excitement I experienced on the IJSBA tour to the big screen. We have a great script, a great director and are in the casting process with some of the top names in Hollywood."
