Sturgis Rally Week is just around the corner and the Legendary Buffalo Chip is preparing for another great year.

For nearly 30 years the Chip has time and again proven itself as the epicenter of Sturgis Bike Week and with Rally Week celebrating its 70th Anniversary, this year is no exception.

The Legendary Buffalo Chip will be hosting the summer’s largest and most authentic music festival of its kind with a music lineup guaranteed to heat up your Rally Week festivities.

The Chip’s newest addition to the summer’s biggest biker lineup is the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne. Certain to send shockwaves through the Buffalo Chip’s renowned outdoor amphitheatre, Ozzy’s legendary spectacle of gore and glitz is sure to rock and shock. Also gracing the distinguished stage of the Legendary Buffalo Chip for a once-in-a-lifetime performance on Tuesday, Aug. 10 is America’s quintessential singer, songwriter, activist and poet, Bob Dylan.

Providing guests the opportunity to witness a genuine selection of premier bands and musical superstars, there are no comparisons or substitutions to the Legendary Buffalo Chip’s 2010 Rally Week lineup. Here’s a quick rundown:

Rally Week offers an array of activities in and around Sturgis; as a result the Legendary Buffalo Chip anticipates possible significant traffic delays. This year’s Legendary Buffalo Chip Sturgis experience includes Michael Lichter’s 10th Annual Motorcycles as Art exhibit. Entitled "Eternal Combustion-30 in the Wind," this year’s exhibit will focus on the explosion of interest and passion for custom motorcycles and will feature the works of 15 pairs of custom builders.

Celebrities, the nation’s top bike builders and riders looking to ride for charity are also encouraged to take part in the 3rd annual Legends Ride. This historic and beautiful ride takes riders from Deadwood to the Legendary Buffalo Chip through the Black Hills of South Dakota and benefits a number of local charities.

And you won’t want to miss the Chip’s quirkiest addition to their 2010 Rally lineup, eccentric funnyman and American icon, Pee-wee Herman. The Chip is thrilled to have Pee-wee help kick off this year’s 70th Annual Sturgis Rally Week 2010. To celebrate Pee-wee’s visit to the Legendary Buffalo Chip they have planned a number of entertaining events including a "Waiting for Pee-wee Party" as well as open auditions for guests to appear in a scene with the legendary character. Pee-wee will also be judging the Ms. Buffalo Chip Pageant and participating in the 2010 Legends Ride, as well as a Pee-wee parade through The Chip’s premises.

In addition to these popular events, the Chip has successfully rounded up an enormous selection of biker-centric entertainment and fun. From the Guns of Freedom which offers guests the opportunity to fire over 65 models of machine guns to the Legendary Buffalo Chip’s Freedom Celebration including The American Pride RideT and a special tribute to our American Veterans and Active Duty Military; the Legendary Buffalo Chip offers the complete package.
