Road America: Vintage Motorcycle Race

Over 400 classic bikes will participate in the Road America Vintage Motorcycle Classic, June 11-13, 2010, an event sanctioned by the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA).

In addition to racing on the legendary four-mile circuit, three off-road courses will feature vintage and post-vintage motocross, cross-country and observed trials. Collectors will enjoy the vintage motorcycle swap meet where they can shop for bikes, parts, literature and memorabilia from over fifty vendors.

Vintage motorcycle clubs and organizations from throughout the region will be manning club corral booths, including the 2010 featured club, the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club (VJMC).

Clubs will display their bikes, sell memberships and club regalia, and have a gathering place for members.Tickets to the Vintage Motorcycle Classic can be purchased after 7 a.m. at the Main Gate on Hwy 67.

Admission is $20 on Friday, $30 on Saturday and $30 on Sunday. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Parking, paddock access and grandstand seating are free with every ticket.

Fans are encouraged to enjoy Road America’s park-like setting with on-site camping, fees apply. Road America offers diverse racing venues, amazing viewing opportunities, fantastic concessions and high-speed excitement to thousands of spectators each year.

Located midway between Milwaukee and Green Bay in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, it offers 640 grassy and wooded acres which include the 4-mile circuit, the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex for karts and supermoto, and the Road America Motorcycle and Driving Schools.
