Dorna and the FIM have confirmed the provisional list of riders and teams entered into the MotoGP World Championship for the 2010 season. No real surprises here but a few interesting and impactful changes can be spotted when compared to the 2009 MotoGP entry list.
Ben Spies, the 2009 SBK World Champion, joins the MotoGP ranks and will surely be a challenger. James Toseland has left the MotoGP series and will now be competing in the SBK series. Tony Elias has also stepped down but instead to the new Moto2 class.
The hard charging Marco Simoncelli, Hector Barbera and Alvaro Bautista have stepped-up from 250cc to the premier MotoGP class. They know the tracks and the drill. All have the drive to win and will be upfront when the flag drops for the first round of the 2010 MotoGP season.
