2011 BMW F 800 R | Quick Look

2011 BMW Motorcycle

Expanding its successful 800 parallel twin range, BMW has a sporty stripped down chassis for the DOHC motor with the 2011 BMW F 800 R.

Putting out a claimed 87 horsepower at 8000 rpm and a strong 63 ft/lbs of torque at a conservative 6000 rpm, the F 800 R has only a claimed wet weight of 439 pounds to push around.

Typically odd in appearance, the 800’s black aluminum frame is a major attention grabber, along with the blacked out motor that conspicuously hangs from it. Twin 320mm discs with four-piston Brembo calipers slow things down.
