The 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 GT Pro is the fully equipped, street-focused member of the middleweight Tiger 900 family. At $16,895, it sits between the $14,995 GT and the off-road-ready $17,395 Rally Pro.
The Pro package separates it from the GT. A quickshifter, electronically adjustable shock, tire pressure monitoring, centerstand, heated grips, heated seats, and LED auxiliary lights are all standard, and each is optional on the GT.
The road focus separates it from the Rally Pro. Cast aluminum 19-/17-inch wheels wear Metzeler Tourance Next tires, in place of the Rally Pro’s 21-inch wire-spoke front. Marzocchi suspension delivers about seven inches of travel at each end, compared to more than nine, and the two-position seat is lower at 32.3 or 33.1 inches.
The 888cc T-Plane triple gains 13 horsepower for a peak of 107, with 66 lb-ft of torque. A new cylinder head, higher-compression pistons, high-lift cams, and a freer-flowing exhaust do the work. It pulls low like a twin and revs like a triple, and it runs smoother than before. Fuel consumption drops 9%, and valve inspections stretch from 12,000 to 18,000 miles.
Rain, Road, Sport, Off-Road, and customizable Rider modes tune the ride-by-wire throttle, cornering ABS, and traction control. A clear seven-inch TFT display, with Bluetooth connectivity, comes from the Tiger 1200.
Brembo Stylema calipers grip the 320mm front discs, and braking is now linked. Hard stops trigger the emergency flashers to warn following traffic.
The fork is fully adjustable, and the electronic shock offers four preload settings, from solo to fully loaded with luggage. A rubber-damped handlebar, a flatter seat with thicker foam, and a one-touch-adjustable windscreen serve the touring mission. Cruise control is standard, and the fuel tank holds 5.3 gallons.
The GT Pro is quick on its feet and stays composed at the edge of its road-biased tires. Triumph aims it at riders who want adventure-bike comfort and range for touring, urban, or sport riding, without the off-road hardware.
