2027 Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pro Buyer’s Guide [Specs, Price]

The 2027 Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Pro is the off-road-equipped Tiger 1200 with the standard 5.3-gallon tank. For 2027, the Rally models give up their 21-inch front wheel and extra travel. The Rally Pro now shares the GT models’ 19-/17-inch wheel sizes, 120/70-19 and 170/60-17 tires, and 7.9 inches of travel. Triumph says the change makes the whole range more road-biased while keeping off-road capability.

What makes it a Rally is equipment. Side-laced wire-spoke wheels replace the GT’s cast aluminum, and the Rally Pro adds engine protection, an adjustable folding brake pedal, and an Off-road Pro riding mode. That brings the total to eight modes: Sport, Road, Eco, Rain, Off-road, Off-road Pro, and two configurable Rider modes. The off-road modes can now be selected on the move.

The Showa Heightflex semi-active suspension has a new hydraulic secondary bump-stop for big hits, along with Firm, Medium, and Soft damping settings on a dedicated button and automatic preload. It also lowers the seat 1.2 inches as the bike stops. Even on the move, the comfort seat in its upper position is just under 34 inches, lower than last year’s Rally Pro with its standard seat in the low position, 34.4 inches. With the low seat, seat height drops to just over 31 inches at a stop.

The technology matches the rest of the range. Bosch front and rear radar runs adaptive cruise control and collision, blind-spot, and tailgater warnings. A 7-inch touchscreen brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a fan-cooled phone compartment sits atop the tank. Heated seats, previously an accessory on the Rally Pro, are standard, along with heated grips. Triumph rates the 1160cc T-plane triple at 156 horsepower and 96 lb-ft of torque, driving through a 6-speed gearbox with a quickshifter and shaft final drive.

At $23,995, the Rally Pro costs $1000 more than the GT Pro and weighs 11 pounds more, at 562 pounds. The premium buys wheels, protection, and an off-road mode, not different geometry, so it’s for riders who see real dirt. Riders who want a 21-inch front on a big Triumph should look elsewhere.
