Here we are! It’s time for the final four rounds of the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series. When the riders entered Nashville’s Nissin Stadium last Saturday, just five points separated the top three riders in the standings. With Hunter Lawrence returning to the top spot, Ken Roczen back in P3, and Eli Tomac struggling to P12, all of a sudden, we see Hunter Lawrence walking through the gates of Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland with a 10-point gap over Roczen, who is five points up on Eli Tomac, who led the series going into the last round. That’s a lot of chaos this late in the season. Regardless, it’s time for the 2026 Cleveland Supercross fantasy picks and tips for RMFantasySX players.
- Supercross returns to Cleveland after a 31-year break, following the series’s only visit to The Mistake on the Lake. Last time, Jeremy McGrath won at Cleveland Municipal Stadium on a track that ran around the perimeter of the floor to protect the Browns’ precious gridiron. The track will use the entire floor of Huntington Bank Field in what may be the only race there, as the stadium is scheduled for demolition and a new stadium will be built for the 2029 Browns season. Cleveland may rock, but it can’t catch a break in Supercross. At least this round is a Triple Crown!

- You can put Hunter Lawrence back in the top spot this week. Lawrence tweaked his wrist three rounds ago in Detroit when he crashed to a P18 finish. The lingering effect limited him to P3 the next week in St. Louis. However, we can pronounce him fully recovered following his solid win in Nashville last week, making Lawrence the favorite in Cleveland.

- Although Ken Roczen struggled on the slick Nashville track last week, look to him to do his best to give Hunter Lawrence a run for his money. Roczen is on a 2-1-1-3 run, so you might think he’s a good pick to win, and he is. However, the two wins came when Lawrence was hindered by his damaged wrist. With Lawrence recovered, Roczen is considerably less likely to win. I have him in P2.

- The next three spots are complex. Usually, putting riders in the right order is the hard part. In 2026, just knowing which riders will be in P3-P5 is a challenge. Riders other than Lawrence and Roczen who have finished in that range in just the four rounds include Justin Cooper, Justin Hill, Jorge Prado, Chase Sexton, Malcolm Stewart, Eli Tomac, and Cooper Webb. That’s seven riders for three slots. So, I’ll do my best to break it down. Keep in mind that my picks are highly speculative, so use the tips to pick your own poison.

- None of the Magnificent Seven has been on the podium twice in the four-race stretch. With that in mind, we have to go to the most top-five finishes. Justin Cooper is the only rider of the seven to be in the top five three times in the last four rounds. We will blame the ultra-slick Nashville track for Cooper’s P7 after a 4-4-4-2 run, so it’s Cooper for P3. That leaves two spots open in the top five.

- Of the six riders left for P4 and P5 consideration, three of them have been in the top five twice in the post-break run — Chase Sexton, Malcolm Stewart, and Eli Tomac. Sexton is wildly inconsistent at DNS-2-22-4. Stewart is struggling with a 5-3-8-18 card over the last four rounds. Tomac is on a steeply downhill trajectory, going 3-5-6-12. That’s not much help, is it? Of those three, Sexton is good to go if he doesn’t crash, which is far from a given. Still, with two top-fives in the last three rounds, I have Sexton down for P4. I don’t have the stomach for Stewart or Tomac. I’m not forgetting that Tomac is the King of Triple Crowns. However, we’re looking at a different Tomac right now.

- Of the remaining three — Justin Hill, Jorge Prado, and Cooper Webb — one emerges a best pick. Hill is erratic at 11-8-14-5, so he’s not my guy. Prado has similar inconsistencies, with a 7-13-4-13 record. That leaves Cooper Webb, who is my choice for two reasons. He has scored the 4th-most points since the break, trailing only Roczen, Lawrene, and Cooper. Webb’s 6-6-5-2 line is a good one coming into Cleveland, though the P2 is likely a slick-track-induced anomaly. So, it’s Webb filling out the top five in P5.

- The guys at RMFantasySX are making the Wild Card tough this week, going with P15. When you get down that low, you can’t even be sure your pick will qualify for the Triple Crown. By far, the best choice is Mitchell Harrison. He was on a 16-15-15-15-15 run until he DNFed the LCQ last week. I haven’t heard he’s injured, and he’s on the Cleveland Supercross entry list, so Harrison is my pick. I’ll double-check Qualifying to make sure he’s lining up for the Triple Crown races.
