2026 Nashville Supercross winner Hunter Lawrence.

The 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series continues to have more twists and turns than the Tail of the Dragon. Hunter Lawrence returned to the top step of the podium at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, breaking Ken Roczen’s two-race winning streak and regaining the lead in the series with a 10-point lead over Roczen, who finished in P3. Eli Tomac, who started the afternoon race at the top of the standings, floundered in the Main Event after winning his Heat race. Tomac finished in P12, dropping him to P3 in the standings, 15 points behind Lawrence.

2026 Nashville Supercross Results and Standings: Ken Roczen
Ken Roczen’s two-race win streak was broken by a P3 finish.

Lawrence’s march to the win was methodical. Completing the opening lap in P5, Lawrence passed Shane McElrath, Jorge Prado, and Justin Hill on consecutive laps to move into P2. Lawrence chased down Roczen, who had led since lap 2, taking the lead on lap 14 of the 24-lap Main Event on an extremely hard-packed track.

Roczen fell on lap 15, allowing Hill into P2 and Cooper Webb to move up to P3. Webb passed Hill for P2 on lap 18, where Webb stayed until the finish. It’s Webb’s best finish since his P2 at round 6 in Seattle.

Cooper Webb (#1) battles Justin Hill (#46), while Ken Roczen watches.

Roczen replaced Hill on the podium on lap 20, with Hill retreating to P5 on the same lap when a surging Chase Sexton got by. Sexton started the race in P13, compared to Hill leading the opening lap. Hill was passed by Dylan Ferrandis on lap 22, but Ferrandis was assessed a one-position penalty for cutting the track after going over the berm in the sand section, preserving Hill’s best finish of the year. Despite the penalty, Ferrandis’ P6 was also his best ride of 2026.

2026 Nashville Supercross Results and Standings: Eli Tomac
Eli Tomac struggled to a P12 finish.

Last week’s P2 finisher, Justin Cooper, finished in P7 after getting as high as P5 early in the race. Tomac was never a factor. Tomac was in P8 on lap 17 when he went down, dropping him to P11. Tomac never recovered, finishing in P12, behind Dean Wilson, who was riding his first 2026 AMA Supercross round. Prado was in P4 until a lap 11 crash. Prado rejoined in P13, where he remained the rest of the Main Event.

The Supercross series continues Saturday in Cleveland at Huntington Bank Field. It will be an afternoon Triple Crown race.
