Ken Roczen (#94) battles Hunter Lawrence (#96) while eventual Salt Lake City Supercross winner Chase Sexton (#4) looks on

Ken Roczen is the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Champion after winning a duel with Hunter Lawrence in the first half of the Main Event. Lawrence, who came into the final round one point behind Roczen, grabbed the holeshot but was passed by Roczen before the first lap was finished. Lawrence dogged Roczen until lap 11 (of 25), when Lawrence ran off the track while being pressed by Jorge Prado. Two turns after returning to the race, Lawrence crashed on a 180-degree right-hander, effectively ending his championship hopes.

With Lawrence remounting in P7, Roczen rode cautiously, giving up the lead on lap 23 to eventual winner Chase Sexton. On the next lap, Roczen was passed by the battling trio of Prado, Justin Cooper, and Cooper Webb. Roczen cruised to the checkered flag in P5, two positions ahead of Lawrence, who made no passes after falling. That was enough to give Roczen the title by three points. Cooper took P2 behind Sexton, with Prado rounding out the podium and Webb in P4, 0.6 seconds behind Prado.

Defending Supercross Champion Webb took P3 for the season, followed by Eli Tomac. Tomac crashed hard on the first lap of his Heat and was finished for the night. Cooper rounded out the top five of the 2026 Supercross Championship Series.
