2026 Suzuki DR-Z4SM+ First Look: Sophomore Upgrade

It’s the second year of the new Suzuki DR-Z4SM supermoto bike, and to celebrate its sophomore stats, Suzuki has added an upgraded version — the 2026 Suzuki DR-Z4SM+. The new “plus” version draws from the Genuine Suzuki Accessories catalog to make the bike more practical and durable.

The 2026 Suzuki DR-Z4SM+ starts with the standard version and adds axle sliders to both wheels ($50/pair x2), Knuckle Covers (aka hand guards at $80/pair), and a rear cargo carrier ($280). Purchased from the catalog, the package will run you $460, plus installation. If you get the new DR-Z4SM+, you only pay an additional $300, which is just $20 more than the rear cargo carrier alone.

Available in two colorways — Sky Gray and Solid Special White No. 2 — we are disappointed that the SM+ doesn’t get exclusive graphics. We’d even be satisfied with an + added to the 4SM stickers.

We have a test of the standard 2026 Suzuki DR-Z4SM in the works, so watch for it. We hope to get the SM+ when it becomes available.
