SuperMotocross returns for 2026 with the now-traditional 31-round schedule. The opening 17 rounds are Monster Energy Supercross, the next 11 rounds are Pro Motocross AMA Nationals, and the last three rounds are two Playoffs and the Final.
Threee new locations are being used for the Playoffs and Final. Playoff 1 will be at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Playoff 2 is at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, 10 miles south of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, which hosted the original Super Bowl of Motocross in 1972. The Final will be held at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri, just north of the Arkansas border and 50 miles south of Springfield.

2026 is the fourth year of the SMX World Championship Series, and Jett Lawrence has been the only champion, having won three times. Jett Lawrence will be back to defend his title, as will his closest competitor and brother, Hunter Lawrence. Other contenders include Justin Cooper, Ken Roczen, Chase Sexton, Eli Tomac, and Cooper Webb. Jett will be starting with a handicap, as he will miss most, if not all, of the Supercross series due to a preseason injury.
All 31 rounds of the 2026 SMX World Championship series will be streamed live on Peacock. If you need a list of 2026 SuperMotocross rider numbers, we have it.
