KTM is celebrating 35 years of world championships with a three-bike Champion Edition lineup. Getting the 2025 KTM Champion Edition treatment are the 300 XC-W two-stroke dirt bike and the four-stroke 350 EXC-F and 500 EXC-F dual-sport bikes. Each model in the trio enjoys the same array of technical and cosmetic upgrades, so let’s go over them, starting with the functional improvements from the aftermarket and KTM’s PowerParts catalog.
- A Supersprox Stealth rear sprocket transmits the power to the rear wheel. It’s a hybrid design with an aluminum core for light weight surrounded by steel teeth for durability. The result is a sprocket claimed by Supersprox to be 30 percent lighter than a pure steel sprocket.
- The front disc is a semi-floating design. A semi-floating disc keeps the disc cooler for more consistent braking.
- The front wheel also gets a front axle puller. This facilitates tire changes, especially when outside of the shock. It is essential for quick changes during races that include wheel/tire changes. Oh, and it’s anodized orange.
- A skid plate protects expensive engine cases. Frame tubes also provide needed protection for riders who frequent rock gardens.
- ODI Lock-On grips are highly regarded. The ODI Lock-On design keeps the grips from twisting on the handlebar and throttle without using adhesive or safety wire.
- The orange KTM Factory Selle Dalla Valle seat is ribbed for superior traction when conditions get slippery. The Italian-made Selle Dalla Valle seat is also very orange.
- Should the engine temperature rise on technical trails when it gets hot, a radiator fan kicks in.
- The two-stroke 300 XC-W gets a map-select switch to match the switch that is standard on the 350 EXC-F and 500 EXC-F thumpers.
- The orange frame gets a protection kit to keep it fresh-looking.
- Red Bull KTM Factory Racing graphics give the bikes a highly competitive look.
- We’ve got the prices of the 2025 KTM Champion Edition lineup. The 2025 KTM 350 EXC-F Champion Edition runs $13,149, with the 500 EXC-F adding $450 to the price tag. The off-road-only 2025 KTM 300 XC-W Champion Edition is the least expensive of the three models, sporting an MSRP of $12,099. All three models should be available at your KTM dealer.
