A few days ago, we told you about the 2024 Suzuki V-Strom 800—a more pavement version of the V-Strom 800DE we tested last year. As it turns out, the new V-Strom 800 has a travel-friendly sibling—the 2024 Suzuki V-Strom 800 Touring.
We went into great detail about the difference between the new V-Strom 800 and the 800DE, so we won’t belabor the point—click here to read about the standard V-Strom 800.
Let’s explore the two significant differences between the standard 800 and the Touring edition.
The first difference you’re likely to notice in the photographs is the top case. The top case carries 35 liters of cargo and uses the ignition key to lock or remove the case.
Handguards are the other addition to the 800 that makes it the Touring.
Even if you don’t use this Touring for touring, the top case and hand guards should be accessories that will entice commuters.
Also, the Touring edition has its own color—Glass Sparkle Black. The MSRP for the 2024 Touring is $10,499, a $600 premium compared to the standard 800. Don’t be in a hurry—the Touring won’t be at Suzuki dealers until Spring 2024.
