Orlando Bloom BMW S1000R Custom
When off the screen, Orlando Bloom puts the same passion he has for acting into his love of motorcycles. But not just any motorbikes – Bloom is an ardent BMW Motorrad fan, owning numerous bikes from the Bavarian manufacturer, including a few old classics.
In a world led by art, Passion leads to creation, and Pirates of the Caribbean star Bloom decided it was time to build a custom. His already beautiful and technically-advanced canvas? BMW’s newest naked roadster – the BMW S1000R.
He got together with friend Michael “Woolie” Woolaway, the head of the Deus Ex Machina custom shop in Venice, Calif., to “bring his custom S 1000 R vision into reality.”
After the custom S1000R was built, Bloom piloted it throughout California’s Malibu Hills during the shooting of “4CYL,” a production by Arthur de Kersauson and Clement Beauvais in cooperation with BMW Motorrad. Highlights from the filming are attached above.
