The 2024 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is a roadster variant of the Himalayan 450 adventure bike. About 50% of the parts are common to both, with the Sherpa 450 engine the largest piece, and development took place in India and England.
The liquid-cooled DOHC single displaces 452cc and makes 39 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 30 lb-ft of torque. Its four-valve head is there to lower emissions rather than to chase high revs, and the broad powerband is easy to manage. Performance and Eco power modes are standard. The 6-speed transmission works with a cable-actuated, assist-and-slipper clutch.
The chassis mixes old and new. The non-adjustable 43mm Showa fork wears retro gaiters and has 5.5 inches of travel, while a linkage-assisted Showa shock gives the rear wheel 5.9 inches. Both 17-inch alloy wheels carry Ceat Gripp XL tires with a dirt-track tread.
City riding is the Guerrilla 450’s strength. The 30.7-inch seat makes finding the ground easy, handling favors predictability over stark agility, and the long suspension travel takes care of imperfect pavement. It has a 56.7-inch wheelbase and a 405-pound curb weight, and the neutral ergonomics are comfortable all day.
Braking is the weak spot. A Bybre two-piston caliper works a 310mm front disc, a single-piston caliper grips the 270mm rear disc, and dual-channel ABS is standard. The tires limit traction when braking hard, so committed riders should budget for higher-performance rubber.
A 4-inch round TFT display connects to a smartphone and offers Google Maps-informed turn-by-turn navigation with a subscription. An analog-style dash with an LCD inset is available.
The Royal Enfield paint range is split into Analogue, Flash, and Dash groups, with five colors. The UK base price is £4850 in Smoke Silver. The Guerrilla 450 was not sold in the US as a 2024 model. It came here for 2025, priced at $5299.
