Verona in the northern Italy will heat up the motorcycle world with the annual Motor Bike Expo, which runs from January 23 to 25, 2015. It is no small affair, either; in 2014, the Expo had 560 exhibitors and attracted more than 140,000 visitors!
The show hosts displays for motorcycles, scooters and associated products of every description = customs, off-road, touring, classics, sport bike and café racers alike will all share the huge venue in Veronafiere.
There will be four special display areas: one devoted to café racers; one called “Eco” devoted to e-bikes; one called MotorCircus, which is a mix of exhibition, presentations, awards, roundtables; and a show dedicated to the world of Motor Sport and the Touring area that focuses on travel and adventure products.
Superstars of the motorcycle world will be on hand, as well, including Sylvain Guintoli, Michael Van Der Mark, Guy Martin, Aykut Tataroglu from AT AMERICAN CYCLES, custom builders John Shope, Chris Richardson, Winston Yeh, Mike Rabideau, Fred Kodlin and David Borras.
In addition, Jody Perewitz, of Perewitz Cycle Fab, and holder of eight land speed records, including one world record will be in attendance. She is the fastest woman on an American V-twin at Bonneville having taken her custom built bike to over 200 mph.
Internationally renowned motorcycle photographer Michael Lichter will be hosting the Metzeler sponsored “World Custom Conference.” See examples of Michael Lichter’s work in the book “Café Racers,” by Paul D’Orleans, we reviewed here.
The Ace Café London has announced it will be in attendance, as well, to debut the factory special edition Triumph Thruxton Ace 900. Ace Café London can be found in Hall 4, Stand 24T at the Motor Bike Expo in Veronafiere.
