2015 Harley-Davidson Sportster Lineup
Harley-Davidson’s Sportster lineup for 2015 offers everything that made it one of the Motor Company’s perennial best sellers, but adds some new features as well.
The six-model lineup includes the XL 1200T SuperLow, XL883L SuperLow, XL 883N Iron, XL 1200C Custom, XL 1200X Forty-eight, and XL 1200V Seventy-two.

The 2015 Harley-Davidson XL 1200T SuperLow combines the nimble Sportster SuperLow chassis with the performance of an Evolution 1200 V-Twin engine and touring features, including a detachable windshield, locking saddlebags, Michelin Scorcher 11T touring tires and rear suspension with dial-adjustable pre-load.
Ergonomics are calibrated to ideally fit riders from 5’ 1” to 5’ 7” in height and afford easy reach to the ground, handlebar and foot controls. The combination of wheel size, radial tires and front-end geometry contribute to outstanding maneuverability.

The final drive ratio is matched to the rear wheel size to provide smooth acceleration.

The 2015 Harley-Davidson XL 883N Iron takes attitude to a dark place. Reflecting the style of riders who want a quality ride with no hassles, the blacked- out, back-alley bruiser is the “anti-chrome” Harley model.
The Iron 883 is for those who want their first taste of that ride-hard-and-put- up-wet lifestyle. It’s for those who want to tear up asphalt and backroads instead of polishing paint and chrome.
With straight cut, dual shorty mufflers, a slammed, drag-style handlebar, front fork gaiters, chopped rear fender and solo seat, the Iron 883 is a raw, stripped-down, aggressive bike that gives the rider an authentic, throwback riding experience, with a very aggressive price point.

The 2015 Harley-Davidson XL 1200C Custom has a beefy front end, wide triple clamps, big fat tires on Chrome 5-Spoke Cast Aluminum wheels; with all that, the Sportster 1200 Custom combines all the agility and kick of a Sportster model with the big, fat attitude of a custom cruiser.
Clean styling lines, chrome trim and eyebrow and a stylized LED taillight combine with a fat, strong stance to give the 1200 Custom an “in- your-face” presence. The front-end suspension and geometry work together to provide truly balanced handling.
With the H-D1 factory customization process, customers can personalize their 1200 Custom with seat, handlebar, foot control, wheel, security, paint and engine finish options straight from the factory.

The 2015 Harley-Davidson XL 1200X Forty-Eight is an urban brawler with attitude; from from the fat, balloon tires to the all-steel peanut tank to the solo seat.
Custom touches include a slammed speedometer, under bar mounted mirrors and 26-inch seat height that offers a low profile, while the peanut tank and big 16-inch wheels combine for a menacing look that could only come from Harley-Davidson.

The 2015 Harley-Davidson XL 1200V Seventy-Two offers a classic Sportster 2.1-gallon fuel tank, narrow whitewall tires, Chrome Steel Laced wheels, and high mini ape-hanger handlebar that complete a look that nods to chopper custom motorcycles of the 1970s and to current trends in garage-built custom motorcycles.
The Seventy-two features the Evolution 1200 cc V-Twin engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI), rated at 70.8 ft. lbs. peak torque at 3500 rpm.
