The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer released the above video, simply titled “Remembering Kurt Caselli,” as a tribute to the fallen rider.

Besides earning multiple off-road AMA and WORCS titles, and International Six Days Enduro medals, Caselli competed in the grandaddy of all desert races in January – the Dakar Rally.

During the 2013 Dakar Rally, Caselli replaced the injured Marc Coma, a three-time Dakar winner. The California native would impress with two stage wins, though he finished 31st overall due to a navigational error.
