KTM Releases ‘Remembering Kurt Caselli’ Tribute Video

Kurt Caselli Memorial

The world lost one of the most beloved off-road racers during this year’s SCORE Baja 1000 desert race – Kurt Caselli.

And immediately after the Nov. 15 tragedy in Baja California, Mexico, the motorcycle-racing world began offering all sort of memorials. The latest tribute arrives in the form of a video from the manufacturer Caselli was closely united with – KTM.

The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer released the above video, simply titled “Remembering Kurt Caselli,” as a tribute to the fallen rider.

Besides earning multiple off-road AMA and WORCS titles, and International Six Days Enduro medals, Caselli competed in the grandaddy of all desert races in January – the Dakar Rally.

During the 2013 Dakar Rally, Caselli replaced the injured Marc Coma, a three-time Dakar winner. The California native would impress with two stage wins, though he finished 31st overall due to a navigational error.
