2014 Yamaha YZ450F / YZ250F Akrapovic Exhaust

Ready for the 2014 season models, the first Akrapovič competition exhausts to be released are for the new Yamaha YZ450F and YZ250F motocross machines.
To produce a three-tier range of performance competition exhausts, Akrapovič had to take into account the latest machines’ new frame design and dimensions, and engine performance. Hours of product testing and evaluation eventually led to three products worthy of the famed Akrapovič logo. Akrapovič OffRoad products for MY2014 Yamaha YZ450/250F include:
- design technology to meet stringent FIM noise limits
- welded bracket for mounting and a titanium end cap to improve durability under racing conditions
- clear-finish coating for the silencer outer sleeve – provides exceptional scratch resistance and easier cleaning
- spark arrestor with no loss in performance
There are three Akrapovič performance exhaust packages for the new 2014 Yamaha YZ450/250F machines:
