2013 Isle of Man TT VideoMonster Energy riders made it to the podium more than once at the 2013 Isle of Man TT.
Leading the charge for the energy drink company was the “Morecambe Missle” John McGuinness. The Honda TT Legends rider performed well throughout the first four solo TT races, but really showed his dominance in the final race of the event – the Senior TT race.With his Senior TT win aboard the CBR1000RR, McGuinness earned his 20th TT win. The only rider to have more is the late Joey Dunlop with 26. McGuinness also took third in the Dainese Superbike TT, the Royal London 360, and the Supersport 2 race, and second in the SES Zero TT.Also performing well were Monster Energy riders Conor Cummins (KMR Kawasaki), who took third in the Isle of Man TT bikesocial.co.uk Lightweight Race Results, and William Dunlop (Milwaukee Yamaha) took third in the Supersport 1 race.Monster Energy recently released the video below, highlighting its riders at the Isle of Man TT. In this week’s first segment, Editor Don Williams takes the smallest BMW ADV bike on an urban adventure in Los Angeles. The BMW G 310 GS is a full size motorcycle with a modest engine, so of course we wonder if it is a little too underpowered and might struggle. Don put it through its paces and gives us his take.
In the second segment, Neale Bayly and Kiran Ridley have returned from the Ukraine to Paris where Kiran is based.
Kiran is an award winning photojournalist, and as an accomplished documentarian, he has covered stories as diverse as drug smuggling around the Mexican border, to the devastation of the Australian Bush Fires, to the tragedy of the Mediterranean migration crisis. Neale and Kiran reminisce about their motorcycle adventure in the Ukraine, and their observations and experiences with the incredibly resilient people of Ukraine, who have been put through such brutal hardship.
