BMW GS Trophy Day 7 Video

When the third edition of the BMW GS Trophy wrapped up Sunday in Chile, Team Germany was the overall victor.

Team Germany headed into the final day with an 18-point advantage over Team France, and following the tests, including the “Indiana Jones” test, the Germans were able to eventually finish with another 18-point lead overall.

Taking second overall was Team France, with Team Italy finishing third. Team USA finished sixth overall.

Tomm Wolf (BMW GS Trophy co- organizer) says: “It was unbelievable, after the huge pressure and four months of hard work on location, it’s great to have seen the group ride through our event, it´s unbelievable. When I came here I didn’t think it was possible to put on an event as good as this, but now it’s over and all the riders – except Marc-André Octeau who was injured on day three – have come back safely. That is an achievement.”
