Norton Motorcycles
Last weekend, a crowd of more than 100 people gathered for the landmark unveiling of the first Norton Motorcycles to be delivered in Italy.
This was only been possible due to the first ever Ex EFG funding facility for export being provided to Norton from Santander and backed by the British Government.
Norton says: "The funding has helped us enter into export sales but also gives us greater scale and volumes with suppliers. This helps parts supply right across our business and will lift the number of hand built bikes we are able to make for all markets, taking Norton another step forward on it’s journey forwards.
In what is a very exciting time for Nortong, its Italian dealers and customers, the Mayor of Cremona, Dr. Tancredi Bruno di Clarafond, presented the keys to the first two proud Italian owners. Mr. Fagnoni took delivery of his Commando 961 SE and Mr. Vicomandi received his Commando 961 Sport.
This marks just the start of a long lasting relationship between Norton Motorcycles and our Italian friends and it is fantastic to see the first of many Norton Motorcycles on Italian roads.
