MXoN 2011

The nail-biting final race of the 2011 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations was a fitting climax to what proved to be one of the hardest fought international MX battles of recent years.

Now fans can relive the vital highlights of the 65th Motocross of Nations in the Official Review, new on DVD from Duke.

With breathtaking action footage from throughout the event in Saint Jean d’Angely, France, it is the essential guide to a fascinating contest.

The Official Review includes a track guide, courtesy of helmet-mounted cameras, a chance to hear from the leading riders and a look at the 2011 Motocross Awards Ceremony.

However, it is the high-jumping, hard-sliding action which will have viewers hooked as they relive the qualifying races and then each of the three races to decide which of more than 30 nations would lift the Motocross of Nations trophy.

Ryan Villopoto, Ryan Dungey and Blake Baggett were chasing a 22nd MX of Nations win for the USA, but world-class riders from France, Britain, Australia and Italy would push them to the bitter end to prevent a seventh win in a row for America.

The French team of Christophe Pourcel, Gautier Paulin and Marvin Musquin looked set for an emotional home victory heading into the third and final race, as the USA battled to come back from a heavy defeat in the opening moto.

While the Americans would keep the pressure on right through to the last lap, the British team of Dean Wilson, Tommy Searle and Brad Anderson battled heroically for a place on the podium.

The Official Review features all the vital highlights from every race, plus outstanding performances from the likes of Toni Cairoli, Ken Roczen, Chad Reed, Tyla Rattray and many more of the greatest MX riders in the world.

The 2011 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations Review is released Out Now on DVD, priced at $24.99 and will be available from leading video outlets or direct from Duke Video: Tel +44 (0)1624 640 000, fax +44 (0)1624 640 001 or email mail@dukevideo.com.
