Although he contested on a Ducati 848 EVO this AMA Daytona SportBike season, which includes his controversial win at the Daytona 200, Team Latus rider Jason DiSalvo will be competing on a Triumph Daytona 675R at New Jersey Motorsports Park this weekend during the final round of the season.

DiSalvo is no stranger to the Daytona 675; the New York native contested on the British machine during for the first seven rounds in the 2010 World Supersport Championship.

Jason DiSalvo (Triumph Daytona 675 SportBike) says: “I got a really good feeling for the Triumph in Europe last year, and I’ve had my eye on our team’s Daytona ever since George (Latus) and Ronnie (Saner) brought it in for Dustin to ride in SuperSport. Now that I have my own Daytona, I’m really looking forward to having some fun with it this weekend.”

DiSalvo, of Batavia, N.Y., is currently third in the season point standings with three wins, including the season-opening Daytona 200, and four pole positions.

George Latus (Latus Motors Racing Owner) says: “We’ve been very impressed with the Triumph’s performance this year. Dustin’s done a fantastic job with the bike in SuperSport and we’re interested to see how Jason will do in Daytona SportBike. I’m sure that whatever happens this weekend will make for some lively conversations in the off-season.”
