2011 Isle of Man TT
On Monday, the 2011 Isle of Man TT continued with the Supersport 1 and the Royal London 360 Superstock races.
In the Supersport 1 race, which is to be followed by a second race on Wednesday, Padgetts Honda CBR600 rider Bruce Anstey took the win, making for eight overall IOMTT victories. He was joined on the Supersport podium by Honda TT Legends rider Keith Amor and Relentless Suzuki’s Guy Martin.
The Supersport race came with tragedy, though, and was shortened after a fatal, one-man IOMTT crash at Gorse Lea involving Derek Brien.
In the Superstock races, which is a liter class, Sweep Street Kawasaki’s Michael Dunlop finished over 19 seconds ahead of Saturday’s Superbike winner John McGuinness (Honda TT Legends CBR1000RR), and over 23 seconds ahead of the man in third, Guy Martin (Relentless Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superstock).
