Ducati Adds to North American Team

On Monday, Ducati announced the appointment of several key personnel to its North American team, strengthening the company’s commitment to the North American market.

Dominique Cheraki has assumed the newly-created role of General Manager, complementing the management of CEO Cristiano Silei. Cheraki joins Ducati from the role of Managing Director at the Ducati West Europe subsidiary

Dominique Cheraki says: “It is an honor to arrive in my new position with the company I have loved for so many years. I look forward to settling into my new position and further contributing to the tremendous success story that our North American business has been these past few quarters.”

Cheraki started with Ducati in 1998, first establishing the Ducati France subsidiary. Cheraki then oversaw the brand operations in the Benelux and Scandinavia, finally merging them in January 2010 to form the new Ducati West Europe organization.

In addition to Mr. Cheraki there are three additional new members of the Ducati team. Christopher Pearson has joined Ducati as Commercial Director for Canada. Pearson- who has over fifteen years experience in the motorsports industry- will lead Canadian sales & marketing activities.

Tom Buttleman has been appointed as the North American Network Development Manager. Buttleman is tasked with further strengthening the dealer network and managing the brand’s retail identity. Also in the area of dealer support, the newly created position of Dealer Marketing Coordinator has been assigned to Ryan Speer. Speer will be working with the dealer network in order to directly support their Ducati marketing activities.
