Valkenswaard MX1/MX2 Video
The FIM Motocross series traveled to Valkenswaard in the Netherlands this past weekend for round 2 of the 2011 World Championship.

Racing in the Netherlands began on Easter Sunday, with Mag Nagl (KTM) taking the MX1 qualifying race. He was joined on the podium by Evgeny Bobryshev (Honda) and Rui Goncalves (Honda).
In the MX2 qualifying race, it was also KTM that struck first, with Jeffrey Herlings taking the win after complete domination from beginning to end. In second was another KTM rider Ken Roczen, with Max Anstie (Kawasaki) in third.
When FIM Motocross got underway Monday, it was all Red Bull Teka KTM Factory Racing’s Toni Cairoli took the top spot after a first in Race 1 and a second in Race 2. Taking second overall in the Netherlands was Nagl, with David Philippaerts (Yamaha) in third.
Herlings grabbed to top spot at his home race after winning both MX2 races. Taking second in both races was his teammate Roczen, with Tommy Searle taking third in both races aboard the Kawasaki.
The FIM MX1 and MX2 World Championships head to the United States for the USGP on May 15. The track that will host this year’s event will be Glen Helen Raceway in California.
