New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) announced today the hiring of Joe Heller as director of marketing and communications. Heller will be responsible for designing and implementing the motorsports venue’s marketing and communications strategy, including social media, advertising and promotions, as well as developing relationships with local, regional and national media.

Brad Scott (General Manager of NJMP) says: "We are pleased to welcome Joe to the team. His knowledge of the markets we serve, passion for motorsports and experience in the industry will help NJMP enhance its marketing outreach and bring awareness to the facility."

Heller comes to NJMP from Dover Motorsports where he handled communications for two NASCAR venues, Dover International Speedway and Nashville Superspeedway, since 2006.

Prior to Dover, Heller worked in the development department at United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia & Vicinity, and has also spent time with Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, N.Y., and the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League.

A Philadelphia native and graduate of Temple University, Heller currently resides in Dover, Del. with his wife Jennifer and son Scott. He will relocate to the South Jersey area in the near future.
