Supercross Atlanta

The first race was held on March 5, 1977, and Bob Hannah won on a Yamaha. This will be the 33rd time the gate will drop for a Supercross class race in Atlanta. Yamaha won the first race in Atlanta, which was at Fulton County stadium.

In 1992, Yamaha’s Damon Bradshaw won the last ever Supercross class race held at Fulton County Stadium. In 1993, Bradshaw won the first ever Supercross class race at the Georgia Dome. Bradshaw became the first rider to win three consecutive races in Atlanta.

Supercross Class Recap from San Diego
Chad Reed earned the 39th win of his career and his first win since St. Louis of 2009.

Reed is now the fourth different rider to win a race this year.

Reed has won a Supercross class race on three different brands: Yamaha, Suzuki, and Honda. He joins Ron Lechien, Jeremy McGrath, Mike LaRocco, Ezra Lusk, and Ricky Carmichael to do so.

Reed has 131 starts, 39 wins, 106 podiums, 114 top fives, has gone eight seasons with at least one win, and two Supercross class titles.

Ryan Dungey earned his fifth podium finish of the season.

James Stewart earned his sixth podium finish of the season.

Andrew Short earned his seventh top-10 finish, finishing sixth place.
