2011 AMA Motocross
Newly-crowned Supercross Lites champion Justin Barcia and defending Hangtown winner Eli Tomac are revved up and ready to kick-off the 2011 AMA Lucas Oil Motocross Championship series this Saturday at the revered Hangtown National outside of Sacramento.
2011 Salt Lake City Supercross
GEICO Honda Supercross Lites rookie rider Eli Tomac rode like a champion Saturday as he collected his second win of the 2011 season at Rice Eccles Stadium.
The impressive wire-to-wire win lifted Tomac into second place in the Supercross Lites championship chase and leaves him just two points off the lead with opne race left.
Daytona SX Lites
Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Blake Baggett earned his first win of the season in dominating fashion as he led wire-to-wire and finished 15 seconds in front of second place at the 2011 Daytona Supercross Lites race at Daytona International Speedway. Teammate Dean Wilson overcame a rough start and a minor crash to finish eighth.
Pro Circuit/ Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson and Blake Baggett look to continue their podium streak at 2011 Daytona International Speedway for the historical Daytona Supercross. Wilson comes off his first win in Atlanta, while Baggett looks to improve on his two third-place finishes.
This weekend, AMA Supercross will compete in California for the last time of the 2011 season.
Going into Round 7 in Cali, there’s a tight battle up top, but Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto has the advantage; he holds a nine-point advantage over San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart.
Supercross Eastern Lites
JDR/J-Star/KTM rider PJ Larsen proved why he’s a two-time Australian National Champion after turning a top qualifying time and earning second overall in his heat before a crash ruined his night at the opening round of the AMA East Lites Supercross Series in Houston, Texas.
2011 AMA Supercross
This weekend, the 2011 AMA Supercross series heads to Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, for Round 6 of SX action.
James "Bubba" Stewart will arrive in Houston following a two consecutive wins, adding to three out of five rounds so far.
JDR/J-Star/KTM rider Ryan Marmont impressed the crowd Saturday with another top ten finish at the fifth round of the AMA West Supercross Lites Series in Anaheim, Calif.
The Australian Supercross rider has made it a habit of finishing inside the top ten this season and managed to pull it off once more with a 9th place finish at the final Anaheim round.
