We told you all about the European debut of the SV650-based Suzuki SV-7GX back in November. While we were hoping to see it in the United States for 2026, we got the next best thing; it is arriving as a 2027 model. The SV-7GX arrives on our shores with a price tag of $8599. However, we are also getting the 2027 Suzuki SV-7GXV for $8399, which is a way to save $200.
Two colorways will be available for the 2027 Suzuki SV-7GX.
The 7GXV is the same motorcycle as the 7GX, except that the fairing is graphics-free Pearl Brilliant White to contrast with the blacked-out chassis and motor. Yep, that’s the difference.
Like the SV-7GX, the V version has the venerable liquid-cooled, DOHC, 645cc V-twin that we all know and love. Electronic rider aids include three drive modes and traction control. The 6-speed transmission is equipped with a quickshifter.

There’s a new 4.2-inch TFT dash that wirelessly connects to your smartphone via the Suzuki Ride Connect+ app. The upright faired sportbike is designed to meet the needs of sport-touring riders and commuters thanks to friendly ergonomics, a forgiving chassis, and a tractable powerplant.
Suzuki dealers are accepting reservations for the 2027 Suzuki SV-7GXV this month, though delivery dates for the bike and the SV-7GX have not been determined.
