Ducati MotoGP
As the holidays are quickly approaching, Ducati decided to give fans a holiday greetings with this comical YouTube video featuring MotoGP star Nicky Hayden.
In the video, the 2006 MotoGP Champion walks through empty Ducati offices in Borgo Panigale, searching for Filippo Preziosi, the General Director at Ducati Corse. Once Nicky Hayden finds him, it’s not about finely tuning the GP11 or tweaking something, but rather wishing everyone happy holidays.
As for 2011, Ducati will be looking for some better, as Hayden and his new teammate, Valentino Rossi, will be looking to place the GP11 motorcycles on the podium often.
The last outing on the track, and Rossi’s first on the Italian machine, was at the traditional post MotoGP tests at Valencia.
During the MotoGP tests, Rossi finished 10th on Day 1, and 15th on Day 2; Hayden finished ninth on Day 1, and sixth on Day 2.
Preziosi and his Ducati Corse team at the Bologna factory will now take Rossi and teammate Nicky Hayden’s impressions from the last official MotoGP test of 2010, and develop the GP11 into a machine that will suit both riders’ needs.
