The 2011 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide Ultra, a super-premium touring motorcycle, offers its rider and passenger exceptional style, comfort and performance.
The aerodynamic, frame-mounted fairing offers a lighter steering feel than a fork-mounted fairing, and incorporates dual headlamps and a cockpit-style instrument display.
The CVO Road Glide Ultra is built on the innovative Harley-Davidson Touring chassis, based on a single-spar, rigid backbone frame and a stout swingarm developed to withstand the demands of long-haul touring riders and today’s more-powerful engines.
The Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110 engine with 110-cid (1803cc), rubber-mounted within the frame, is rated at 115 ft. lbs. of torque at 4000 rpm.
The engine is equipped with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) and Electronic Throttle Control (ETC), and is mated to a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission. New chrome billet muffler end caps with black spears finish off the 2-1-2 exhaust system.
The CVO Road Glide Ultra features a Road Tech zumo 660 GPS navigation system, upgraded Harman/Kardon Advanced Audio system with BOOM! Bagger speakers and an 8GB iPod nano and dock, and a two-up suspended touring seat with dual heat controls, adjustable backrests and leather insert surfaces.
Wind tunnel testing was used to design a new mounting angle for the 16-inch Road Glide windshield and discreet deflectors that reduce buffeting in the rider area. A push-button, remote-control key fob activates power locks on the Tour-Pak luggage carrier, saddlebags and ignition.
Production of the 2011 Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide Ultra (FLTRUSE) will be limited to approximately 3,000 units with suggested U.S. retail price of $35,999.
