2011 Geico MiniMotoSX: New Vegas Venue

South Point Arena MiniMotoSX

The upcoming 2011 GEICO MiniMotoSX, presented by Monster Energy, is being moved to an alternate venue for the May 6th event in Las Vegas.

South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa, featuring the South Point Arena will now play host as the battlegrounds for the world’s biggest mini bike event.

Eric Peronnard
(MMSX Founder) says: "We’ve been at the Orleans for the first seven years of GEICO MMSX – and will return there in 2012. A change of venue for 2011 has us at the South Point Arena, which is just minutes away from The Strip in the southwest Vegas valley."

"We’ve got things dialed in early with South Point so the transition between venues will be seamless and we’re expecting another record-setting weekend of racing at the world’s biggest mini bike event."

Peronnard added that the South Point Arena’s floor has a larger footprint than the Orleans, to which GEICO MMSX officials will take advantage of every square foot to create more wide open and flowing track, with higher speeds and likely longer lap times.

The annual GEICO Mini Moto SX, presented by Monster Energy, is the largest indoor motorsports competition of its kind.

With more than 600 registered riders in 2010 the event literally allows for mini bike enthusiasts to become part of the show.

As one racer put it: "At GEICO MiniMotoSX you don’t just show up and watch racing in Vegas – you boot up and get on the track yourself to race in front of a packed house at the South Point."

Featuring numerous classes at all age and ability levels, GEICO MiniMotoSX delivers an unforgettable day of racing action for both fans and racers alike, along with an affordable ‘Vegas experience’ Book your rooms now before they sell out by clicking here.
