Motocross News

After a storied amateur motocross career 18 year-old Nick Paluzzi from Riverside, Calif. will make his pro debut at Steel City Raceway in Delmont, Pa this Saturday, Sept. 4 in the premier 450cc mx class.

Paluzzi will also contest the final round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series at Pala Raceway in Pala, Calif. Sept. 11, his home track.

Paluzzi was offered the opportunity to race the last two nationals with the Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Team after Josh Grant elected to have shoulder surgery this week following a practice crash last Saturday at the Southwick, Mass. race.

Nick Paluzzi says: "I am really excited to have this opportunity," said Paluzzi. I want to thank everyone involved at Joe Gibbs Racing as well as all of my sponsors who allowed me to participate."

"Unfortunately injuries are a part of our sport but we always try our best to have two riders in the race for our sponsors, and we are excited to have Nick riding for us the last two rounds," said Coy Gibbs, the team owner.
