Brothers Jett and Hunter Lawrence kept alive the family streak of winning every Moto in the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship series at the Southwick National. Jett went 2-1 and Hunter 1-4, as the pair finished 1-2 overall. Visiting MXGP series leader Lucas Coenen ran with the leading pack in Moto 1 before a crash ended his day.
Jett led the first Moto for 12 laps until a crash handed the lead to Hunter. Hunter led for five laps until the race was red-flagged due to a Christian Craig crash. In Moto 2, Hunter led for three laps before surrendering the lead to Jett. A late crash relegated Hunter to P4 in Moto 2, as the wind was knocked out of him, allowing Deegan and Jorge Prado by.
Deegan’s 3-2 day was good enough for a P3 overall on a hot day at The Wick 338 in Southwick, Mass. Jorge Prado made a late charge for the overall podium, pushing Deegan in Moto 2. However, Deegan held on, and Prado settled for fourth overall with a 4-3 day. Garrett Marchbanks went 5-5, though he was nowhere near the lead group. Marchbanks was 56 seconds behind the winner in Moto 1 and over 95 seconds back in Moto 2. At the end, Jett had lapped traffic all the way up to P10.
Jett takes the series lead back from Hunter, with only one point separating the top two riders. Deegan is in P3, 53 points behind Jett and 16 clear of Prado.
The series resumes on Saturday, July 18, at Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minn., for the Spring Creek National, as the series moves into the second half of competition.
