With James Stewart and Chad Reed remain out with injuries, Villopoto led the field through turn one, winning the Spike Holeshot
Award. Josh Hill was in second and last week’s winner Davi Millsaps was in third to start the AMA Supercross class
main event. Points leader Ryan Dungey moved into fifth place
by the end of lap one.

Kevin Windham passed Millsaps for third

lap, but spun out after the finish line, giving Millsaps the
fourth-place position. Eventually, Dungey earned back fourth place,
where he finished. Hill finished second and Windham finished third.
