San Francisco Race Summary

Click video to watch Jason Weigandt and Jim Holley provide a complete race wrap-up after an exciting evening of Supercross from San Francisco. Both Chad Reed and James Stewart are out with injuries for at least the next few weeks of racing action. The misfortunes of the Supercross favorites have provided an opportunity for many of the Supercross challengers.

Ryan Dungey, 2010 Supercross points leader, crashed but was able to continue and salvage a 4th place in the main event. Ryan Villopoto won his first Supercross followed by Josh Hill in second and Davi Millsaps in third. Now the 2010 AMA Supercross class point standings tighten-up with Ryan Dungey on 90, Josh Hill on 79, Ryan Villopoto on 77, Andrew Short on 68 and Kevin Windham on 61.

The breakneck pace of the 2010 season leaves no time to rest as Supercross now heads to San Diego for next Saturday’s round 5 race event.
